Dr. Swan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Dr. Swan is also credentialed as a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist- Supervisor (CCCPT-S) and Child-Parent Relationship Therapist- Supervisor (CCPRT-S). She completed her doctoral training in the Counseling Department at the University of North Texas, her published dissertation research entitled, Effect of CPRT with Adoptive Parents of Preadolescents: A Pilot Study.
