Julie Merriman is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Psychology and Counseling at Tarleton State University. She has had a private practice for over 15 years where she served children, adolescents and families. Dr. Merriman has spent her career serving children and families in many different capacities from school teacher, school counselor, school principal, and as a Director of Adolescent Services for mental health centers. Currently, she serves as the Past President for Texas Association for Play Therapy and on committees for Association for Play Therapy.
