Mary Roy was a school counselor for 19 years in Texas and Kansas. She had a private practice specializing in play therapy for individuals and families for 11 years in Kansas and helped to establish the Kansas Association for Play Therapy branch. She taught and supervised in the program until she retired in 2011.
